Ombudsman: Sympathetic response to any complaint
The Garda watchdog said it had not “at this time” set up its own “public interest” inquiry into the handling of child sex abuse complaints by certain gardaí.
The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission can investigate matters of public interest without having to receive a complaint.
