SINN FÉIN said last night it would do everything in its power to give voice to the public anger over NAMA and demand that its passage be stopped.

Dáil business had to be suspended twice before one of the party’s TDs finally agreed to leave the chamber following his vocal opposition to NAMA. The party’s leader Gerry Adams backed up the opposition by insisting the banks should be nationalised instead.
