FIANNA FÁIL has met with Fine Gael and Labour to work out how the three parties will co-operate on the Lisbon treaty campaign.

All three parties supported a yes vote in the first referendum last year, but ended up in a bitter row over who was making the biggest effort to pass the treaty.

The electorate ended up rejecting Lisbon, and the three parties are anxious to avoid repeating the same mistakes this time round.
