Cost of Playstation 3 set to tumble by 25%
Computer stores here dropped €100 off the price of the Playstation 3 yesterday within hours of Sony’s decision.
A staff member at Game in Tallaght said the console was now being sold for €299, down €100 from its retail price on Tuesday. Industry experts believe the move, which came after pressure by game publishers, might mean other console manufacturers will also drop their prices.
