Appeal for help in tracing missing man
GARDAÍ are seeking the public’s help in tracing a missing Corkman who hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.
Both gardaí and the family of John O’Brien have expressed concern about his welfare as the 47-year-old was on medication and may have run out of it.
Mr O’Brien left his home in Douglas at about 6pm on Friday, July 17. He was last seen on Cork’s Western Road earlier this week.
He had mentioned to a friend that he might drive down to west Cork, although gardaí have emphasised that this may not have happened.
Mr O’Brien’s car, a silver Hyundai Accent with the registration 99-C-4775, is also missing.
Mr O’Brien was last seen wearing a dark coloured zip-up fleece, denim jeans and a grey polo shirt.
