Vodafone broadband ‘20% less than Eircom’

VODAFONE is issuing a further challenge to its rivals by offering landline and fixed-line broadband packages at 20% cheaper than its rival Eircom.

Vodafone also said pay monthly mobile customers will benefit from an extra 10% savings if they choose Vodafone At Home, meaning total savings of at least 30% against Eircom.

Chief executive of Vodafone, Charles Butterworth said: “[The] Vodafone At Home landline and fixed broadband package will be, at a minimum, 20% less than Eircom’s equivalent. This is not a summer promotion... We are in this for the long haul.”

The Vodafone At Home offer includes connection, line rental, broadband up to 7Mbps, local and national landline calls and free calls to Vodafone numbers.
