Special accolade for top city hotel

THE Clarion Hotel’s excellent service and the vibrancy it created as the first anchor tenant in Cork’s City Quarter development have been recognised with an award.

The hotel received the second quarter Cork Business Association/Heineken Ireland Business of the Year Award at a special reception held in the brewery last night.

James O’Sullivan, chairman of the judging panel, said the hotel was the catalyst which helped to bring a redeveloped part of the city to life.
