TEN properties were repossessed by mortgage providers at a sitting of the Dublin High Court yesterday.

In the case of a house repossessed by the Woodchester in Ballyhaunis, Co Westmeath, the owners had moved to Australia.

They were €35,000 in arrears, leaving them owing €430,000 on a mortgage drawn down in 2008.
