THE people of Limerick will not bow down to the “savagery” of criminal gangs, the city’s mayor said following the latest death threat against the family of an innocent businessman man shot dead this month.

Gardaí last night confirmed a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions following a complaint of a death threat against the younger brother of Roy Collins, who was murdered on April 9.

Gardaí are investigating a complaint that Steve Collins was threatened on Tuesday while driving in the city’s Childer’s Road area.
