Clinton: US committed to reforming laws for visa-less Irish

US SECRETARY of State Hillary Clinton says she is committed to reforming laws that have left thousands of visa-less Irish threatened with deportation.

She said President Barack Obama was determined to modernise the country’s immigration system.

“This is an issue I worked on very hard as a senator from New York. It is part of our need to revamp our immigration system. It is broken, we know it is broken. It got caught up in the political campaign of the last couple of years.
