United political front for Washington

TAOISEACH Brian Cowen is to use his visit to the White House next week to show the world “the peace process is unshakeable”.

He said his visit to Washington, alongside the North’s first minister and deputy first minister, will send a message that Ireland, north and south, is united against terrorism.

He spoke during Dáil statements on the deaths of a police officer and two British soldiers.
