FINE GAEL leader Enda Kenny was accused of lacking credibility and taking the “soft political options” after his offer of a more co-operative approach with the Government in dealing with the economic crisis.

Foreign Affairs Minister Micheál Martin also said the Government would work with the opposition “if they are sincere in terms of their desire for a more effective approach”.

However, he said Mr Kenny “has simply opposed every single measure we have taken”.
