3 questioned after drugs find

THREE men were being questioned by detectives from the Garda Drugs Unit yesterday after the seizure of €250,000 worth of drugs in Cork city.

Detectives seized what they believe to be cannabis resin and ecstasy tablets after a car was stopped and searched in the city.

The three men — aged 34, 36, and 45 — are currently being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at the Bridewell, Togher and Gurranabraher garda stations.
