Group aims to raise €3m for ferry service

A NEW co-operative is aiming to raise a e3 million shortfall to re-float the Swansea-Cork ferry service.

A consortium of businesses based in the south-west region, led by West Cork Tourism have formed the co-operative in the hope of re-establishing the route lost three years ago.

It believed tourist interests in the region have lost in the region of nearly e100m as a result.
