Chamber organises ‘think tank’ for state firms involved in job creation

SHANNON Chamber of Commerce has organised a “think tank” meeting for state companies involved in job creation.

A spokesperson said the aim of the information session is to open up new channels with private sector people with business ideas. The meeting will be held at the Shannon Shamrock Hotel on Thursday, February 26, from 7.30am to 9.30am.

Shannon Chamber’s interim chief executive Helen Downes said: “Shannon Chamber’s role is to represent business, in the good and bad times. This extends to helping employees of our member companies who are forced to seek alternative employment due to redundancy or, who may have the kernel of a new business entity but are unsure where to start looking for help.”
