THE wounded associate of a notorious heroin dealer, gunned down in a gangland attack this week, has died.

Gardaí last night upgraded their investigation to a double murder after James Moloney, 26, died less than 48 hours after being put on a life support machine.

It is believed the gunman knew both victims.
