Greens call for changes in way key appointments made

THE Green party called yesterday for changes in the way senior appointments are made to state agencies.

But the call came just hours after an embarrassing gaffe by the party concerning the resignation of Fás boss Rody Molloy.

On late Tuesday night, Mr Molloy announced he was stepping down, following discussions with Tánaiste and Enterprise Minister Mary Coughlan about the expenses debacle at Fás.
