Epic Thomond tussle sparks peace and light

TODAY’S battle between Munster and the All Blacks at the new €40 million Thomond Park has brought peace and light to the Dáil.

Limerick East and West’s four Fianna Fáil deputies are to be paired with the four opposition TDs (3 Fine Gael, 1 Labour) to enable them travel to the big game.

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has also been given time out officially to open the new stadium in front of a capacity 26,000 crowd.
