Government failed to budget for a partial climb down

JUST 48 hours after it was announced, aspects of the Government’s budget are collapsing faster than the share price of Irish banks.

In his traditional post-Budget Day interview on RTÉ on Wednesday morning, Finance Minister Brian Lenihan more or less admitted it was unclear exactly how the €200 employee car-parking levy would work.
