Garda appeal to Polish woman

GARDAÍ investigating the murder of a Romanian man over a year ago believe a Polish woman has vital information about his death.

Detectives suspect the woman may have witnessed the killing of Ilie laurentiu Dutu at an apartment in Bettystown, Co Meath, on July 13, 2007.

Mr Dutu, 32, and a father of two, was fatally stabbed in the apartment, but his body was found later that day dumped in the front garden of his home in the Brookville estate in Drogheda, Co Louth.
