Alison joins stable of celebs in NYC

MY Little Pony fever is set to grip New York next week and one Cork girl will be in the centre of the celebrations.

Ten-year-old Alison Clarke from Waterfall, Co Cork, will stand beside celebrities such as Courteney Cox and LeAnn Rimes after winning a European online competition to design a My Little Pony figure as part of the brand’s 25th birthday celebrations.

Alison, who attends Ballinora national school, will travel to New York next week with her mother Mary to present her design at an event entitled: My Little Pony Project: 25 Ponies for 25 Years. The event will take place at the Chelsea Art Museum.
