Pay a sticking point as social partners talk on

THE social partners continued talking through the night in order to create a new national wage and partnership agreement.

IBEC, the Government and the trade union movement still had a wide range of areas of dispute, but the main sticking points remained agreement on collective bargaining and a new wage agreement.

Over the past three months these have been the issues most likely to impede any new deal.
