Dingle confusion

THE Dingle name change controversy continues.

The latest row arises from the removal of English signage directing traffic to the Dingle town centre which is damaging business, local tourism interests claimed.

Kerry Co Council has replaced “town centre” with An Lár, which is said to be causing even further confusion to tourists who don’t know the meaning of the Irish words.
