Co Carlow residents are the biggest eBay buyers

RESIDENTS of Co Carlow are the biggest buyers per capita on the eBay website and splurged mostly on motorcycles, car parts and DVDs in the past year.

The online auction site yesterday released results of the spending habits by category of web surfers in Ireland’s 26 counties.

Wicklow came runners-up in the spending per capita survey, but eBay refused to release sales figures on commercial grounds.
