Dublin Airport delays to continue at peak times

DELAYS at Dublin Airport will continue for the rest of the summer at least, after the Irish Aviation Authority admitted it was still not safe to restore its radar system to full capacity.

More than a week ago the system collapsed completely, grounding 25,000 passengers and delaying many more.

The authority said while air traffic control was meeting general demand, but delays would still be experienced at peak times.
