Man critical after gun attack that left baby with face injury

A YOUNG man remained in a serious condition last night following a gun attack in which a baby’s life was put at risk.

Two people arrested, including the suspected gunman, are due to be released this morning unless gardaí seek a court extension for another 24 hours.

The victim, Anthony Ayodeji, of Lebanese extraction, was minding a female friend’s 22-month-old baby in the friend’s car when a man fired up to five shots through the driver seat window.
