Reilly baffled by hospital ‘snub’

FINE GAEL’S health spokesman is baffled at what he described as a snub by one Cork’s biggest hospitals.

Dr James Reilly said it is “extraordinary” that the board of Mercy University Hospital refused to meet or brief him during a fact-finding visit yesterday.

Dr Reilly met the management teams of Cork University Hospital and the South Infirmary Victoria and toured both facilities.
