GLOBAL warming will lead to hotter Irish summers but our winters will be more prone to hurricanes, increased rain and frequent flooding, according to a scientific report into Irish climate change in the 21st century.

Warmer World: Scientific Predictions of the Irish Climate in the 21st Century predicts that autumn and winter seasons will become wetter, with rain increasing by 15-25% by the end of the century.
