Animal antics: Zoo stars play for their supper

DUBLIN Zoo’s inmates have become so pampered that we homo sapiens could soon be singing: “Oh, oobee doo I wanna be like you.”

We don’t get too many sweltering days, but on those rare blistering occasions how would you like an ice pop the size of a wheelie bin?

That’s what has been prescribed for the zoo’s rhinos as part of an unique and cool programme to make life behind bars more tolerable.
