Parknasilla reopens after lavish upgrade

ONE of Ireland’s best known hotels, which has counted Princess Grace, Charles de Gaulle and George Bernard Shaw as guests, reopened yesterday following a multi-mullion euro refurbishment.

The historic Parknasilla Resort, near Sneem, Co Kerry, closed last September for a major upgrade.

This included creating 24 two-bedroom courtyard suites and 38 three-bedroom villas set among its magnificent 500-acre grounds.
