The militancy of unions has now driven Transport Minister Noel Dempsey to call for a ‘no-strike’ clause to be part of the social partnership agreements currently being debated by unions, businesses and the Government.

Mr Dempsey’s call is influenced by the ongoing disruption to train services into and out of Cork.
