Deal signed on operator of private hospital

ONE of three private hospitals planned for Limerick yesterday signed an agreement with a medical group to operate its €100 million facility.

The Limerick Private Hospital confirmed that Mount Carmel Medical Group will be the operating partner for the new hospital, to be built near the southern ring road tunnel, which is currently under construction.

Mount Carmel Medical Group (MCMG) has three private hospitals — Mount Carmel Hospital in Dublin, Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Sligo.
