Widowed men more likely to die of a broken heart

WIDOWED men are more likely to die of a broken heart than women, researchers have found.

Women are up to twice as likely to die in the year following a partner’s death, the study by London’s Cass Business School found.

While it is possible to die from a broken heart, the good news is that it is also possible to recover from one — once you get over the first 12 months of mourning.
