Slow caravans are biggest bugbear for motorists

CARAVANS, convoys of bikers and car flags are among the most annoying things on the road for motorists, according to a new survey released yesterday.

Drivers chatting on mobiles, baby-on-board signs and road users who litter the highway are also major gripes, the survey from ITV Local online travel news found.

The survey also found that 10% of motorists had been victims of physical assault on the road, while a third set off for long journeys badly prepared.
