Five brides-to-be make pitch for dream wedding

FIVE brides-to-be will fight it out to the altar to secure a €50,000 prize fund and the wedding of their dreams.

The lucrative wedding pot will cover the cost of a fabulous honeymoon, the wedding band, a professionally-dressed reception room, a designer dress and the many other little flourishes that add up to an expensive wedding day.

The competition, organised by the Wedding Journal, was run over a series of shows where budding brides entered a special pod to pitch for the prize.
