Brennan: Irish increasingly selfish and arrogant

IRISH people are increasingly displaying selfishness, impatience and arrogance.

Such trends, a government minister warned, are against the country’s traditions.

Tourism Minister Seamus Brennan made the comments as he called for St Patrick’s Day to be used as an occasion to recognise the contribution of older people to the country’s recent successes.
