Post-adoption services launched

A SUPPORTING hand was stretched out to parents of adopted children yesterday as services were launched for families.

Barnardos announced its post-adoption service, the first of its kind in Ireland, to support children adopted from overseas and their families. The children’s charity opened a national post-adoption helpline and an email advice service.

A host of information meetings are also planned for parents living in Kildare, Dublin, Wicklow, and other areas.
