Rockers confirm Marquee gigs

GRANDFATHER of grunge Neil Young and the poet of New York, Lou Reed, are the latest big names to confirm gigs in Ireland this summer.

Canadian rocker Young will play Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 29 and Live at the Marquee in Cork the following day, Aiken Promotions confirmed.

Tickets for the standing only gig, priced €81.25, will go on sale from all Ticketmaster outlets next Monday at 9am.
