One-stop health shop for Mallow

WORK on a one-stop shop for health services in Mallow is expected to start next month and the new centre is expected to be operational by June 2009, according to the HSE.

The HSE’s health manager for north Cork, Ann Kenneally, said they had entered into a partnership with three GP practices in Mallow for the project.

She said plans were at “an advanced stage” to provide primary care services by both HSE staff and GPs from one building.
