THE Tipperary woman wrongly given the all-clear from breast cancer has claimed the report into her treatment is being delayed by hospital staff wanting to “delay, derail or ultimately kill” the investigation.

Rebecca O’Malley was speaking after the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) yesterday confirmed it will be next month before the findings of its investigation into her treatment are known.

The 42-year-old was given an incorrect report of a biopsy carried out at Cork University Hospital in 2005.
