Till bells jingle through city as shoppers flock to winter sales

TILL bells jingled across Cork city yesterday as thousands of bargain hunters flocked to the winter sales.

Tempted by offers of up to 50% off, stores like Brown Thomas and Oasis were buzzing by 10am.

Menswear stores, Gentleman’s Quarters and Fitzgerald’s, were offering up to 70% off selected items.
