TWO men died after a rush-hour collision between a car and a lorry in Limerick last night.

The accident happened on the N7 between Limerick and Dublin at 5.15pm about a kilometre beyond Daly’s Cross.

Gardaí closed the road between Birdhill and Finnegan’s roundabout and diverted rush-hour traffic through Newport. Officers said they expected the road to remain closed until early today.
