Youths hijack men in car

GARDAÍ are investigating a hijacking and an attempted hijacking that occurred in a Cork suburb.

Three youths approached a man who was sitting in his car in Douglas village on Tuesday night and threatened him with violence unless he drove them to an undisclosed location.

The man managed to drive off, but a short time later the same three youths are believed to have targeted another car.
