University course aims to help hospital managers cut costs

A NEW course being offered at the University of Limerick (UL) is geared towards helping hospital managers cut costs.

The Lean Diploma, tailored specifically for the health services, is the first of its kind in this country. The new one-year course will commence on February 2.

It is devised for hospital management teams to assist them in addressing critical inefficiencies affecting provision of healthcare services.
