Girl, 6, dies after strike from golf club

A SIX year-old girl died last night after being accidentally struck on the head with a golf club by her young cousin.

The little girl, her eight-year-old sister and her six-year-old cousin were among a group of children out playing golf on a green in the Carrigrua area of Nenagh on Sunday morning.

They were playing close to the house where their families were enjoying a get-together to celebrate their grandfather’s birthday.
