O’Connor speaks out on suicide

SINGER Sinead O’Connor has said she struggled with thoughts of suicide and overwhelming fear before being diagnosed with bipolar disorder — and she said she sympathises with Britney Spears.

Speaking on The Oprah Winfrey Show this week the 40-year-old singer said: “It’s like being a bucket with holes in it. Just leaking tears from every pore.”

She added that she’d often wake up crying for no reason.
