Three years on, Rachel’s anniversary still a difficult time for family

TODAY, the third anniversary of the death of Rachel O’Reilly, is set to be marked in a low-key manner by the family of the murdered Dublin mother.

Rachel’s husband, Joe O’Reilly, 35, was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of her murder last July.

It is the first time since Rachel’s murder that her family has been able to mourn in the knowledge her killer is behind bars. The mother of two was killed by O’Reilly in her home at Lambay View, Baldarragh, the Naul, Co Dublin, on October 4, 2004.
