Mid-west TDs could face crucial vote over Aer Lingus decision

Fine Gael is to table a private members’ motion — or proposal — calling for the Government to use its shareholding in Aer Lingus to persuade the airline to reverse its decision to transfer the slots.

As per Dáil procedure, the motion will be voted upon — and the vote could prove a difficult one for FF TDs representing constituencies affected by the Shannon decision.
