THE two warring factions involved in the vicious feud in Limerick’s Southill estate have held truce talks in Roxboro Road Garda Station, it emerged yesterday.

Members of the feuding families were called to a meeting to try and stem the current level of violence in the city.

Gardaí made it clear, however, that investigations into a number of incidents including a sniper attack on two detectives will continue and charges against eight individuals from both sides will proceed to court.
