A 60-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist became the 218th person to die on Irish roads this year after he lost control of his bike and crashed into two parked cars.

The accident happened in Youghal, Co Cork, at about 11.10am yesterday.

The dead man, named locally as Kevin Sexton, from 58 Oak Hill, Youghal, had been travelling into the town from the Cork direction when his motorcycle swerved across the road.
